What happens if the funding campaign does not reach its goal?
- Option 1: All contributions will be returned. You will receive your contribution back within 30 days.
- Option 2: If they extend the campaign, you will be notified and you can either stay in the campaign or ask for your contribution back.
- Option 3: If the campaign reaches a min of 80% of the funding goal, we will notify you by email to ask for funds to be released to the campaign (unless you already answered yes when you signed up).
Is there a fee to contribute to a crowdfunding campaign?
- There is no fee to join and contribute to a crowdfunding campaign.
Where is money held until the crowdfunding campaign goal is reached?
- The money is held in a Fund It Show It, LLC account for all crowdfunding campaigns – separate from the general banking of Fund It Show It, LLC. The money does not move out of the account until the funding goal is met and the money is requested, and the campaign is closed.
- If at any time the funding goal is not met (see above FAQ – What happens if the funding campaign does not reach its goal?). All contributions will be returned within 30 days.
Can I pull out of the campaign I contribute to at any time?
- You can request to be removed from the campaign BEFORE it reaches its funding goal. Once the goal is met, the money will be sent to the person or company handling the campaign.
- To request a return of your contribution, please email: admin@funditshowit.com
What happens if the “PROJECT” I contribute to fails or does not complete as stated?
- We cannot control the outcome of the “PROJECT” – as we are not lawyers or accountants, I would consult with them on how to take the “LOSS”. Like any business, losses can be incurred and used during tax season. Again, we are not accountants or lawyers.
What happens if the person or company reaches out for additional funding for current “PROJECT” or another “PROJECT”?
- Per the terms of the website. The person or company that places a campaign on our website/portal to raise money for a “PROJECT” agrees to not contact any current contributor for additional funds for current “PROJECT” or FUTURE “PROJECTS”.
What happens if I do contribute more funds to current” PROJECT” or a FUTURE “PROJECT” of a person or company that has raised funds through Fund it Show It, LLC website/portal?
- There is a chance you will be banned from the site, along with the person or company that initiated the campaign. This is not only to protect our company and our revenue, but to keep the opportunities on an equal playing field.
